I answered Kristen’s call at 5:45 AM on Thursday and was at the Lindstedt’s house by 6:05. We left fifteen minutes later with their doula, Tiffanie, and raced to beat the baby to the hospital (which was 20 miles away) while Jordan’s mom stayed at home with Judah.
Kristen and Jordan got out of the car at 6:54, Kristen’s water broke at 7:18, and baby Joy was on the scene at 7:25 AM.
A whirlwind? You can’t even imagine. Thankfully there was just enough time for me to remember my camera…
