On Sunday I had the honor of sharing with our church how we can leverage, not squander, the power of Christ in us, no matter how remarkable or how regrettable our circumstances may be. It was a deeply personal message that I hope will resonate with you today, one that will challenge you to stop waiting for things to be different before you begin living differently. Because it’s high time we we get over ourselves and get after Jesus so that the world may glimpse his glory through our lives, don’tcha think?

All of the women who were at Advance Church on Mother’s Day received this photo that I took at Alcatraz a couple of months ago, and I wanted to make it available to you here as well. May it remind you, as it reminds me, that we don’t ever have to grow weary and lose heart because the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us is truly “the coolest thing ever.”
